What courses does Amref International University offer?

We offer a wide range of graduate, undergraduate, diploma and continuing professional development courses in health sciences. For more information, please check our courses page.

How many intakes does Amref International University have?

There are two intakes every year – in April and August every year.  More information about our courses is available at  https://amref.ac.ke/academic-programmes/

Can one apply for admission online?

Yes, online application is available via our website but one can also access the same by following this link:  https://amref.ac.ke/academic-programmes/

How do I get my admission number?

Your admission number is in your admission letter. For any enquiry please contact [email protected]

Do you have satellite campuses where I can study from?

We currently have only one campus along Lang’ata road, Nairobi

Does AMIU have clinical attachment sites in place?

Yes, we access clinical sites in government & private hospitals

Are there prerequisite requirements for one to join a course?

In addition to academic qualifications we encourage all applicants to have basic computer skills

Do you charge application fees?

 We charge application fees, payable during registration

Do you offer student accommodation?

We do not own hostel facilities but we can recommend decent and affordable privately owned hostels in close proximity to AMIU

Do you offer scholarships?

We currently only offer limited scholarships for specific courses, these are announced from time to time.

Do you have weekend only classes?

We currently offer day and evening classes only.

Do you allow Students to pay fees in Installments?

New and continuing students are allowed a maximum of two fee instalments per semester

Is it possible for a student to defer his or her studies?

Yes, students with valid reasons can write to the University Registrar via email at [email protected] requesting to defer a semester.
