What are the term dates and other key University dates?

The AMIU schedule is organized in trimesters as follows: January – April, May – August, September – December. For specific programme intakes please visit our intake calendar.

What courses do you offer?

We offer bespoke continuing professional development courses (Short Courses), diploma, higher diploma, undergraduate and post graduate programmes. Please visit our academic programmes.

When to apply?

For the January intake, please apply before 1st November, May intake before 1st March, September intake before 1st July. Please visit our intake calendar.

How do I get to the University?

We are located located at the former seat of Amref International Training Centre (AITC) along Langata Road (opposite the Wilson Airport), in Nairobi, Kenya. Maps and directions to the University are available on our contacts page.

Does the university have accommodation on campus?

No, the University does not have any accommodation within the campus. We make arrangements with secure private hostels close to the university at the student’s expense.
