Entry Requirements

i. Bachelor’s degree recognised by Amref International University and Commission for University Education (CUE) with a Second-Class Honours Upper Division; OR

ii. Second Division in a health-related field with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a health institution.

All International undergraduate students upon admission should submit their certificates to Commission for University
Education (CUE) for recognition.

Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:

1. Design and implement effective curricula tailored to health professions education.​

2. Apply innovative teaching and learning strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension.​

3. Develop and utilize valid and reliable assessment tools to evaluate learner performance.​

4. Conduct educational research to inform and improve teaching practices and outcomes.​

5. Demonstrate leadership in the administration and management of health professions education programmes.​

6. Integrate ethical principles and cultural competence into educational practices.​
