heila Khama is a non-executive director of four listed companies: Tullow Oil, an FTSE 250 company; The Metals Company, a seabed mineral exploration company listed on the NASDAQ; Base Resources, a mineral sands producer; and ACWA Power, a Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange-listed energy and water producer.
Formerly, Sheila was Chief Executive Officer of De Beers Botswana and served as a non-executive director of several De Beers Group companies, including Debswana, the world's leading diamond producer by value.She worked for the World Bank and the African Development Bank in their mineral, oil and gas policy advisory divisions, leading teams of experts that advised governments across Africa, Latin America and Central Asia.Sheila is a mineral, oil and gas policy adviser, a member of the Advisory Board of the Columbia University Center on Sustainable Investment, and an Associate Fellow of Chatham House.

Dr Githinji Gitahi is a passionate advocate for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Africa. He joined Amref Health Africa as the Global Chief Executive Officer in June 2015. Headquartered in Kenya, Amref Health Africa is the largest Africa-based international health and development organisation, providing training and health services to over 20 million people annually across at least 35 countries in Africa.Prior to joining Amref Health Africa, Dr Gitahi was Vice President and Regional Director for Africa at Smile Train International. Before that, he served as Managing Director of Monitor Publications in Uganda and as General Manager for Marketing and Circulation in East Africa for the Nation Media Group. He also held progressively senior positions at GlaxoSmithKline and worked at the Avenue Group.
Dr Gitahi is the Co-Chair of the Strategic Advocacy Committee for PMNCH and a member of the African Union Commission on Africa's COVID-19 Response. He also serves on several boards, including the Governing Board of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), the Board of Directors of the Standard Group in Kenya, and the Board of Trustees of the Safaricom Foundation. In June 2023, Dr Gitahi was appointed by the UN Secretary-General as a member of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Lead Group, a global initiative dedicated to eradicating all forms of malnutrition by 2030.

Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta, EGH, is the Patron, Beyond Zero and Margaret Kenyatta Institute for Gender and Social Development.
H.E. Margaret Kenyatta has championed transformative initiatives in health, women's and girls' empowerment, environmental conservation, and wildlife protection. She is best known for founding and championing the Beyond Zero Initiative, driven by the clarion call that "No woman should die while giving life." During her tenure as First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Margaret Kenyatta dedicated her platform to complementing the Government of Kenya's efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality and combat HIV and AIDS through her work as Founder and Patron of Beyond Zero.
H.E. Margaret Kenyatta is the first and only spouse of a Head of State to complete a world marathon, having finished the 42-kilometre London Marathon in 2014. This achievement inspired the launch of the First Lady's Half Marathon, later rebranded as the Beyond Zero Half Marathon, which became the initiative's flagship fundraising event. Through this campaign, funds were raised to purchase and equip 52 mobile clinics that were subsequently distributed across Kenya's 47 counties, significantly improving access to maternal and child healthcare services.

Eunice Mathu is a distinguished Kenyan media professional and entrepreneur with a degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Nairobi. She began her career at the Nation Media Group, the largest media house in the region, before joining Unilever, where she rose to the position of Communications Manager.In 1981, she founded Stellan Consult Ltd, a media consultancy and publishing firm, and has since served as its Managing Director. Under her leadership, the company publishes the acclaimed Parents magazine and manages the successful online platforms www.parentsafrica.com and www.vibeyetu.com.
Eunice has provided media consultancy services to various United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations. Her editorial contributions include serving as Editor/Coordinator for the African Women's Feature Service with the Rome-based Inter Press Service (IPS), as well as contributing to Women's Edition, a global media network coordinated by the Population Reference Bureau.She completed the Launch and Grow Entrepreneurship Programme at Babson College in the United States. Throughout her career, Eunice has played a key role in establishing several professional organisations, including the Media Women of Kenya Association and the Public Relations Society of Kenya, and has served on the University of Nairobi Council.
