Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Amref International University is a comprehensive undergraduate programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in physiotherapy. The curriculum integrates theoretical instruction with practical clinical experience, covering essential areas such as human anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques.

ENTRY REQUIRMENTS

Minimum Admission Requirements

  1. Mean grade of C+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE and must have:
    • C+ in English or Swahili
    • C+ in Biology, Maths/Physics
    • C+ in Chemistry

OR other equivalent qualifications as determined by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).

A pass in language and sciences, and mathematics

  1. Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution (As prescribed by Kenya universities and Colleges Central Placement Service – KUCCPS)
