BSc Physiotherapy
Course Overview
It is a health care profession whose prime purpose is to restore and maintain function, enhance capacity in physical activity and prevent injury or illness through information and advice on healthy lifestyles. Physiotherapists are primary health-care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities. A Physiotherapist examines and develops a management plan to address the patients’ problems that promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability. Further, Physiotherapists conduct research in various field of medical and social research to influence practice and policy.
Program through blended E-learning
Duration: 3 years
- KCSE aggregate of grade: C+ with: Biology C+;Chemistry C+; Maths/ Physics C+; English/ Kiswahili C+
- Foreign students will need their qualifications equated by the Kenya National Qualifications
Authority.
Course Duration: 4 Academic Years
Intake: September
Mode of delivery: Full Time – Face to Face (Monday-Friday; 8AM – 5PM)
Non-East Africans will pay 20% above local rates for tuition and all mandatory charges

Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of physiotherapy.
- Apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various physical conditions.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Exhibit proficiency in performing physiotherapeutic interventions and techniques.

- Sports clubs in both team (Football, Rugby,

- Special schools Consultancy i.e. Occupational health and safety-ergonomics
