This course is designed for clinical and administrative staff with no formal training in project management. The course is designed to equip individuals with competencies for project inception, project design, project implementation, project financing, management of procurement of goods, work and services, project risks, project monitoring and evaluation, project audit and review, project environmental management, project closure, management of project stakeholders and project scope.

Industrial attachment
An individual enrolled in this course will be required to undergo an attachment for a period of three months. An individual enrolled in one of the core units of learning will be required to undergo a month’s attachment.
Assessment and Certification
The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.
A candidate will be issued with a Certificate of Competency for each core unit. To attain the qualification Level 6 Project Management, the candidate must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency as given in the qualification pack.
