Course Overview

This is a competency-based TVETA approved programme that is offered at Amref International Training Centre (The Amref International University-TVET Directorate). The programme mainly equips the trainee to apply professional expertise,
resources, tools, and strategies to ensure that an organisation meets a project’s objectives most efficiently. The programme is aimed at equipping the student with a wide range of project management skills, knowledge, attitude and competencies
applicable in all areas of management.

MODE OF DELIVERY AND DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME

Course Duration: 2 Academic Years – 6 Semesters (4 for classwork and 2 for Industrial attachment)
Intakes: January, May and September | Mode of Delivery: Part-time (Virtual) – (Monday-Friday; 5:30PM – 8:30PM)

ENTRY REQUIRMENTS

Entry Requirements
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-, OR
ii. Certificate in Project Management Level 5; OR
iii. Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA); OR
iv. Any other International qualifications to get approval from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).

CAREER PATHWAYS

Upon completion, the student qualifies as a Community Health Assistant; and can pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health,
Environmental Health, or Medical Social Work programmes amongst others as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority
(KNQA).
