Candidates eligible for admission to the fellowship programme shall be holders of:

Entry Requirements
i. Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and specialization in urology, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry or
endocrinology from an institution of higher learning recognized by Amref International University Senate; OR
ii. Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and demonstrated experience of more than 5 years in providing health
services in relevant medical areas; OR
iii. A recognized qualification in clinical medicine with specialization in sexual and reproductive health and with 10 years or
more of service delivery in relevant areas; OR
iv. A licensed nurse practitioner specialized in sexual and reproductive health and/or midwifery and with 10 years or more
of experience in providing relevant health services
Upon completion, graduates of Fellowship in Sexual Medicine will excel in delivering expert sexual medicine services and will become active members of the International Society for Sexual Medicine, ensuring continuous professional development and networking opportunities.
