Course Duration: 2 Academic Years
Intakes: January, May and September | Mode of Delivery: Part-time (Virtual) – (Monday-Friday; 5.30PM – 8.30PM)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree recognised by Amref International University Senate; OR
- Any other qualification as recognized by Amref International University Senate.
All International undergraduate students upon admission should submit their certificates to Commission for University
Education (CUE) for recognition.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Apply knowledge of human sexuality, reproductive health and related rights based on global perspectives to develop evidence-based interventions to improve the well-being of the most vulnerable populations.
- Analyse policies and legal frameworks addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights.
- Apply knowledge of socio-cultural contexts to identify strategic interventions for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
- Analyse the role of international and regional policy frameworks in addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights
CAREER PATHWAYS
Graduates particularly work for NGOs or ministries of health, influencing policy and programmes.
