Course Overview

The overall goal of the programme is to equip the learner with knowledge, skills and competencies to be able to integrate human sexuality, sexual and reproductive health and related rights from international, regional and domestic perspectives into programming, policy advocacy and research for socio-economic development.

MODE OF DELIVERY AND DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME

The MSRHRP programme will take a minimum duration of 2 years. Students shall be required to cover a maximum of 21 units.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates eligible for admission to the MSRHRP degree programme shall be holders of:

Relevant Bachelor’s degree recognized by Amref International University (AMIU) OR
Any other qualification recognized by Amref International University (AMIU)

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Apply knowledge of human sexuality, reproductive health and related rights, based on global perspectives to develop evidence-based interventions to improve the well-being of the most vulnerable populations
Analyze policies and legal frameworks addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights
Apply knowledge of socio-cultural contexts to identify strategic interventions for sexual and reproductive health and rights
Analyze the role of international and regional policy frameworks in addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights
