Jennifer Peng brings extensive financial leadership and strategic expertise to Amref Health Africa, with a proven track record of driving organizational excellence across both corporate and nonprofit environments. Her deep understanding of complex financial operations and international markets aligns perfectly with Amref's mission to transform health outcomes across Africa. Most recently, Jennifer served as Vice President of Finance - Programs at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she led regional finance teams and collaborated with program leaders to enhance financial transparency and strengthen reporting systems. Her work included implementing data visualization tools and ERP systems that improved compliance, streamlined financial forecasting, and provided critical insights for program spending analysis. She excelled at identifying and addressing financial gaps while effectively communicating risks and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Jennifer's international experience spans over two decades with Colgate-Palmolive, where she held senior finance leadership positions across North America, Eastern Europe, and Asia. This global perspective included spearheading ERP system implementations in China, developing sophisticated cash management strategies to navigate foreign exchange challenges, and designing pricing strategies that maintained profitability during periods of currency volatility. Her expertise in financial governance and strategic planning has been instrumental in driving organizational success across diverse markets. A Certified Public Accountant, Jennifer launched her career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, building a strong foundation in financial systems and compliance. She holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Accounting, bringing both analytical rigor and strategic business acumen to her leadership approach.
