Equity in access to health education is our high priority. Many students chose to come to AMIU because they want to help others. But for many other talented young people, the cost of higher education is an insurmountable barrier. In Kenya, 85% of qualified students from marginalised communities are unable to access higher education. AMIU is going to change that
by offering scholarships to those who need it the most.
With your support to AMIU’s scholarship funds, you will change the course of someone’s life and in turn the health in their communities. One trained community health worker will provide direct service to up to 5,000 people per year
Scholarships, named in your honour, are a high-impact, well-proven investment in the future health of Africa. A full scholarship provides for training, travel, accommodation, equipment and internet access, for a year.
