Amref International Training Centre (AITC) is an accredited Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) institution of learning focused on training in health sciences which is fully owned by Amref International University.

AITC was established to offer certificate, diploma and higher diploma programmes in health related sciences. AITC is founded on the experience and intellect of Amref Health Africa, which is reputed with over 65 years of quality and innovative public and community health interventions, training and education.

It has existed as the training arm of Amref Health Africa with a focus on nursing, community health and several professional short courses. As from 2021, AITC was formally registered, accredited and licensed by TVETA to offer Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes in its niche area of health sciences. AITC continues to grow the portfolio of its accredited TVET programmes to address the emerging health workforce needs for Africa and beyond.

AITC is located along Lang’ata Road, opposite Wilson Airport within Amref International University.
