6th Graduation Ceremony: Celebrating Health Leaders of Tomorrow
The AMIU Class of 2025 lit up the stage with style, pride, and passion during the 6th Graduation. With inspiring speeches from the VC, Amref GCEO, and Former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, the event celebrated academic excellence, cultural diversity, and AMIU’s mission to develop leaders in primary health care.
Grand Opening of the New AMIU Campus
The new campus was officially launched with a resounding message from Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta: “This institution will transform health systems by building a skilled, visionary workforce for Africa.”

Victor Wasilwa, Head of AITC, continues to lead in competency-based community health training. The directorate offers accredited TVETA programs that are equipping students with practical skills for the health workforce.

Michelle Nyambura, PHC Champion and Class Valedictorian, inspired all with her call for mindset change and social transformation. She gave an inspiring speech and bits of it were quoted as inspirational as it came, she urged her fellow scholars ” We have had moments in our academic journey that we felt like giving up. The cap on the head makes it worth it. ”

VvAA Supports AMIU Library
Mr. Bart Janknegt, CEO of VvAA (Netherlands), announced a generous donation to support library improvements, furthering student success and access to academic resources.

New Frontiers with EduNet Solutions
A strategic meeting with Prof. Klaus Stierstorfer focused on launching executive education programs for professionals. A formal MoU is expected by October, paving the way for soft skills and corporate leadership training across Africa.
Engaging with KCB Group
A meeting with KCB Group explored joint initiatives in student financing, staff mortgages, clean energy, and financial inclusion for youth.
