Health Carousel Foundation Funds New Simulation Lab at Amref International University

Amref Health Africa and Amref International University (AMIU) are proud to announce a $250,000 donation from Health Carousel Foundation to equip a state-of-the-art Simulation Laboratory at AMIU’s Northlands campus in Kenya.

The new lab will offer hands-on clinical training for nurses, midwives, and healthcare professionals from over 30 African countries. In 2025 alone, over 3,500 students are expected to benefit from this advanced learning facility. The Simulation Lab is a cornerstone of AMIU’s broader campus development and naming campaign.

“This generous gift is a direct investment in Africa’s future health workforce,” said Prof. Joachim Osur, Vice Chancellor of AMIU. “We are honored to partner with Health Carousel Foundation in our shared mission to transform health training across the continent.”
